As you may have noticed the site isn´t updated too often. It´s because the Scandinavian amusement park enthusiasts are working with a new portal. The portal will be named ThemeParkScandinavia and will have the following address:

Nojespark will be built into the new portal, where all the interesting pictures and information will be available when the new portal opens.

26.3.2007Powerpark adds 2 rides for 2007
Powerpark has confirmed that they will add a Zamperla Rockin´Tug and a Dark Ride for the 2007 the season.
They will also build a 100 m long shopping street. They will also add a horse service center, which offers wandering, riding and trot services.
14.3.2007BonBon-Land build Han Katten for 2007
Yesterday the details about BonBon-Lands new roller coaster was revealed.

Max speed: 55 km/h
Length: 390 m.
Max height: 16 m.
Cars: 5
Riders per car: 4
G-force: 3,3G
Capacity: 600 persons/h
Ride duration: Ca. 1 min
Pris: 20 millioner kr.
Type: Spinning Roller Coaster.

15.2.2007Kvasten enters Gröna Lund in 2007
Gröna Lund now have revealed more details about their new coaster for 2007.
It will be a Vekoma Family Coaster and it will be a suspended one.
Facts about the coaster:

Length: 400 m
Height: 20 m
Max. speed: 55 km/h
Capacity: 650 riders/hour
Ride time: 1 min
Cost: 55 million SEK

11.2.2007BonBon-Land build Kater for 2007
BonBon-Land will add a new Gerstlauer Wild Mouse coaster for 2007.
The coaster will get the name "Han Katten".

25.1.2007Legoland unveils Atlantis – a spectacular world under the sea.
The new Atlantis attraction features u-boats, shipwrecks, tropical fish and treasure filled with diamonds. But be careful: Dangerous sharks guard the treasure. The new attraction takes guests on a trip into a unique experience under the sea.
The ride starts with everybody taking place into the first room, which is designed to resemble a large submarine. A short movie invites everybody take a trip to the lost Atlantis. Doors opens, and guests are guided into the next room by lego-divers, where Atlantis awaits.
Ruins, old jars and statues appear as guests enter the big aquarium, which contains more than 500.000 litres of water. Lego-divers have already discovered the ancient city and is looking for the treasure. But they have to be careful: The sharks guard the treasure.
Guests will experience a colourful world of tropical fish and an underwater tunnel where the sharks slowly swims by above your head. The trip back to the surface goes through the “claw-area” where giant crabs and shellfish rule.

Before the ride is over, guests enter an interactive area where they can see the creatures on a close range.
Atlantis opens when the new season begins on Saturday 31st of March.
Facts:
Atlantis is an indoor attraction. It’s constructed inside the buildings that formerly housed the Mindstorms centre. These are moved to a new area next to the Lego-shop.
Area: 1000m2.
The attraction contains 600.000 litres of water.
The ride contains 4 submarines, 15 lego-divers, and one skeleton. The biggest submarine is 4,5 meters long.
Price: 20 million Danish Kr. Approximately 3,4 million dollars.
The ride is ready to open, when the new season begins on Saturday 31st of March.
25.1.2007Gröna Lund gets a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster
Due to the Reference page at www.vekoma.com it says that Gröna Lund will get a Suspended Family Coaster this year. No name or layout is confirmed, but it´s likely to be announced 14 February this year.
21.1.2007News from Fårup Sommerland
Faarup Sommerland has presented a new water attraction and a new movie for their 4D-theatre.
The new film is called “Fly me to the moon” and features three small men who wishes to go to moon.
The new feature will replace the “Panda Vision” movie.
The park has also presented a new water attraction. A Proslide Cannon Bowl called “Vandcyklonen” or “Water Cyclone”.
The park will open on May 4th.

I can confirm today that the TopSpin has been removed from Liseberg.

4.1.2007Bakken to build Accelerator coaster
Due a document from Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune it seems that Bakken will add a Accelerator, surely from Intamin. It´s isn´t revealed which year that the coaster will be built but our guess is that it will open during 2008. Link to the a document Beslutningsprotokol Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune
13.12.2006Tivoli to open a new kiddie ride for 2007
Tivoli builds a new children's carrousel next year.
The concept name of the ride is "Nautilus" and will be replacing the "little Flyer" at the "Happy Corner" of the park.
The carrousel is built upon a water pool and will feature different effects such as water beams, fog and bobbles.
The ride itself is a giant squid, which holds 12 mini submarines in its tentacles.
All are different and each has room for 2 people. Eric Jany designs “Nautilus”. Facts:
Same ride as ”One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” at Universal Islands of Adventure.

Capacity: 500-700 pph.
Price: Approximately 17 million DKR.

13.11.2006Gröna Lund to get new coaster for 2007
Due to a official press release i have received from Gröna Lund it confirms that Gröna Lund will get a new coaster for 2007. The Ferris Wheel will be removed to make place for the new coaster.

Gröna Lund says it will be coaster for the whole family.
More information about this new coaster will be released on 14 February 2007.

The woman that was injured at the FlumeRide during Lisebergs last opening day for the summer season has now left the hospital and she feel better now.

9.10.2006Accident at Liseberg 8.10.2006
Yesterday there was another accident at Liseberg. A 33-year-old woman fell out of the FlumeRide. She tried to get out of the ride before that last drop. It seems that the woman became scared of the drop and wanted to get out of the ride. She is still at hospital and is seriously injured. When we know more about the accident and what´s happening with the woman, we´ll keep you in touch. /Tommy
5.10.2006Uppswinget new for 2007 at Liseberg.

Today Liseberg have announced the new ride for the 2007 season Uppswinget. The ride will be located at the Lise mountain. I don´t have the exact position right for the ride right now. Uppswinget is a S&S Screamin´Swinger.
Facts about the ride:

Capacity: 32 riders per ride. 16 rides back to back in the each of the two swings.
Max speed: 80 km/h.
Max height: 30 m.
The ride will swing the passengers 120 degrees into the air. Manufacturer: S&S Power
Ride cost: 30 million SEK
Opens: 28 april 2007

28.8.20061 year at Nojespark

Today it´s 1 year since i and Lauri first talked about this site. During this year we have made a great progress that will continue. For example Lauri have made the current design, i have created the magazine and have established contacts with people from the parks to give you information and pictures of removed rides from 3 major parks in Sweden. During the coming year we will continue to give you the best information from Scandinavian parks. Thanks for this first year Lauri. We will work together for many years to come.
