Fårup Sommerland
Fårup Sommerland will add a 4D-cinema for the 2006 season.
Djurs Sommerland
Djurs will open the first Huss Topple Tower in Scandinavia, which is going ot be called Ørnen (The Eagle). There's also going to be some other changes, including at least building a new parking area.
Sommerland Syd
The park will add a circus place for this season.
Tivoliland
Nothing known at the time.
Tivoli Friheden
The park will build a Zamperla Twister Coaster (Spinning wild mouse). The ride is called Tyfonen, which is Danish for Typhoon. Construction photos under this link: nojespark.net/tfrtyfonencon
Legoland
Legoland Billund have now announced that their main addition for the 2006 is a water ride named Vikings River Splash.
Tivoli
Tivoli will open a Funtime Starflyer, similiar to those in Prater Park and Hansa Park, but 80 meters tall.
Bakken
Bakken will add a 4D-theater for 2006.
BonBon-Land
BonBon-Land will add a Bear tower ride for the 2006 season. The twin towers will be 15 m high and will be placed at a 4 m high house.
Liseberg
Liseberg will build a new restaurant area for 2006. The park will also add a new family ride named Lilla Lots.
Skara Sommarland
Skara Sommarland will build a new wave pool for 2006.
Tusenfryd
Tusenfryd will make their largest investment ever and open Scandinavia's fastest coaster. SpeedMonster will be a unique Accelerator from Intamin, the most special feature will be the double- inversion built right behind the park's entrance.
Gröna Lund
Nothing known at the time, but they are looking to buy something big in the future, if just the planning permissions would pass.
Linnanmäki
Linnanmäki will build a new, 35-meter tall (31,5m radius) ferris wheel to replace the classical Helsinki-Wheel opened in 1964. It will be manufactured by Technical Park. The old wheel was built in Netherlands, and before coming to Linnanmäki it toured European fairgrounds. They'll also build a new entrance area with a square covered by a large glass roof. Shanghai, the old entrance and toy museum will be demolished. Construction pics here: link.
28. March 2006 - Tykkimäki announced that they have bought the wheel, but it will be held in storage at least for the 2006 season.
Powerpark
Powerpark will be opening Thunderbird - a twisted wooden coaster from the US manufacturer GCII.
Särkänniemi
The amusement park in Tampere opens a Huss TakeOff, which has been placed on Wave Swinger's old spot. The ride was either bought used or has been rented from another company.
Wasalandia
Wasalandia will add a 3D-movies cinema for 2006.
