Tulireki was Linnanmäki's new ride for 2004. It is a prototype of the new Mack Fun Coaster-ride. The cars seat only 6 persons, and as the speciality of the Fun Coaster model - they are allowed to tilt back and forth and also sidewards. The tilting is hardly noticable though.
Tulireki's layout begins with a few very tight wild mouse-style turns. After them comes the largest drop of the ride, with a nice feeling of weightlessness. Now there are some nice banked curves and after them the mid-course brakes. The end of the ride back to the brakes is travelled at a snale's pace.
The coaster is themed around ancient Finland, which is also the theme of Hurjakuru and Vonkaputous.
The cost to build Tulireki was about 3 million €. Tulireki is translated to Fire Toboggan.
