To the outside, Höjdskräcken looks almost identical to Liseberg's another tower ride Uppskjutet.
These are however very different rides. While Uppskjutet is shot up to the skies from the ground level, Höjdskräcken is first dragged up and then dropped down. The drop down from the highest point causes heavy negative G-force, which makes you weigh nearly -1 times your own weight for a while! It is very close to a freefall which would be experienced in jumping from an airplane.
There are many other similiar rides to Höjdskräcken in the Nordic Countries and even one by the same company (S&S) in Copenhagen's Tivoli.
