Kulingen is an extreme version of the traditional pirate ship with bigger moments of airtime. It was modified from the Intamin Looping Starship called Aerovarvet in the 2002 season, parts of the old attraction were used to build Kulingen. The worst point about the attraction is its safety restraint system. It consists of tight lap bars and small over-the-shoulder bars that push uncomfortably to your lower chest if your tall enough. It works propably allright for the "smaller" riders though.
