Lisebergbanan is the longest and the tallest rollercoaster in the Nordic Countries. Its lift hill is 45 meters tall, though the track never goes very high above the ground level. This is because it was succesfully designed to take advantage of the hilly settings of Liseberg.
The ride is very long, but often has small queues for it, unlike Balder for example. The long and curving track makes this one of the favourites of many coaster fans and it was even the personal favourite of Anton Schwarzkopf, who designed the coaster. And Lisebergbanan can be ridden by anyone over 110cm tall with their parents, so it's a fun ride for almost anyone.
Lisebergbanan was designed by Anton Schwarzkopf. He consulted Zierer to construct the rollercoaster, as Schwarzkopf's company had already got bankrupt. The steel parts for the coaster were supplied by a German company BHS and the pneumatics and electronics by Gerstlauer.
