Jet Star is a classic coaster made by Anton Schwarzkopf. Though it isn't as tall as Half Pipe, Korkkiruuvi or Tornado, it's at least in my opinion among the most intense rides at the park. There are many tight curves in Jet Star's compact track layout, some have a banking of even 80 degrees.
The rollercoaster first opened in Särkänniemi in 1980. It was the last Jet Star coaster ever manufactured by Schwarzkopf, constructed from spare pieces in Anton Schwarzkopf's factory. Back then the track was blue and the supports white, and there were no station buildings. The front of the cars was painted in green and yellow, the rest was white. In 1989 Jet Star was then painted to its current colour scheme.
