Tykkimäki

Tykkimäki is Finland's fourth largest amusement park, situated in the eastern part of the country. For long the park served as a storage for Linnanmäki's old rides, so there are still plenty of true classics to be found from the park. Other than that there's also a whole arsenal of tours and rides for the small children, who are perhaps the primary target for Tykkimäki.
For 2005 the park bought their own first thrill ride since the 80's, a Zamperla Disk'O called Trombi.

History:
Tykkimäki was founded in 1986, and first operated by the Children's Day-foundation (owners of Linnanmäki). For years Tykkimäki served as the "dump yard" of Linnanmäki's old rides, until the year 2000 when the Tykkimäki Company was founded. Majority of the park is now owned by the city of Kouvola and local companies, the foundation had only about 40% of the park's shares in mid-2004. They told they're looking to get rid of them as soon as they get a good chance to.This obviously means we're not going to see any more Linnanmäki's old rides being moved to Kouvola.
